Allah states in the Qur'an:

The dress code for Muslimah according to the Qur'an is righteouseness and modesty.  Allah knows that this modesty will be understood differently in different communities and that is why Allah left it open for us to decide for ourselves...

"Such elderly women as are past the prospect of marriage-there is no blame on them if they cast aside their (outer) garments, provided that they do not make a wanton display of their beauty; but it is best for them to be modest; and Allah is the one who sees and knows all things" (Qur'an 24:60)

"O Prophet, tell your wives, your daughters and the wives of the believers that they shall lengthen their garments.  Thus they will be recognised and avoid being insulted.  Allah is forgiver, most merciful"
